Quail and Dove Hunts

Most guests compare our dove hunts to old Mexico but without the hassle. Several factors work together to produce fantastic numbers of dove.

We are right in the middle of the largest fly-way in South Texas.

Massive acres of brush for nesting and roosting.

Dove Hunts

Whitewing hunts are conducted after 12:00. Coastal Bay fishing trips can be arraigned for the mornings. Cost of the hunt is $385 per gun per day.

First Dove Season: Sept. 21 - Nov. 9

Second Dove Season: Dec. 26 - Jan. 12

San Angelo Dove Hunts: Sept. 1 - Sept. 10
There are whitewing & morning doves in this area.

Combination dove and quail hunt: $585

This season offers fantastic shooting due to the fact that large numbers of northern doves have been pushed into our area by winter weather in northern states. The cost of this hunt is $385 per day and includes deluxe lodging, meals, bird boys and a complimentary round of sporting clays. There is an additional $35 daily cost for White Wing doves.

Quail Hunts

QUAIL CROP CONDITIONS 2010 / 2011 SEASON
We have had abundant rain fall March - May. The rain helps provide cover & insects that are important for the first 8 weeks of a quail's life. I have seen young birds recently plus many mating pairs...the upcoming season is shaping up to be good!

June 1 & 2 we had 2 inches of rain & June 30 we received 4 inches. These rains plus our timely Spring rains will make the upcoming quail season a great one.

Season - November through February. Cost of the hunt is $585 per day and includes deluxe lodging and meals, bird cleaning, dogs, guides and a complimentary round of sporting clays.
