From Harlingen, take Hwy 77 North to Raymondville. At
Raymondville, take Hwy 186 West, approx. 23 miles to Hwy 281. Turn right
onto access road for 281 (north), go approx. 1/2 mile to the Diamond Shamrock Service
Station (San Manuel Butane Svc.), turn right onto Chapa Rd. (This road runs
along the south side of the station). Go 4-1/2 mi. east on Chapa Rd. until
you come to a red gate. There is a sign there that says Santa Rita Ranch /
La Media Lodge. Turn left (North) thru the gate, go 1 mile, turn left into
lodge road. |

Go north from airport to Expressway 83. Enter Expressway
from frontage road going east. Continue on 83 until you come to Edinburg 281
No. exit. The exit becomes an overhead bridge and
merges into Hwy 281. Continue on Hwy 281 N. for approximately 20 miles.
Approximately 19 1/4 miles north, you will exit at the San Manuel exit and go 1.2 miles on the access road to Diamond Shamrock / (San Manuel Butane
Svc.), turn right onto Chapa Rd. (This road runs along the south side of the
station). Go 4-1/2 mi. east on Chapa Rd. until you come to a red gate. There
is a sign there that says Santa Rita Ranch / La Media Lodge. Turn left
(North) thru the gate, go 1 mile, turn left into lodge road.
